Introducing Doug McLiechey, one of the owners behind 2nGage. In addition to owning and helping run the business, Doug is a seasoned firefighter with over 15 years of service under his belt. Alongside Tyler Cady, Doug has been steering the ship of business success since day one.

Doug’s life isn’t just about fighting fires and running a business, he is thoroughly committed to making Kalamazoo a safer place to work, live and have fun. Doug is a Hazardous Materials Technician, ensuring safety in high-risk situations, and a vital member of the Kalamazoo County Hazardous Materials Response team.

Hobbies

In his downtime, Doug’s all about living life to the max. You’ll find him hitting the open road on his motorcycle, jetting off on adventures, tearing through waves on water sports, or tinkering with classic cars. Oh, and did we mention he’s a peer counselor for the University of Michigan’s living organ donation program? Doug’s passion for helping others extends far beyond the firehouse.
